Coupled with a significant staff turnover, this led to instability in delivering services to customers as per contractual agreements. As a consequence, the owners had to redirect their focus and efforts towards core business activities, leaving a void in the implementation and communication of essential human resources policies, procedures, and structure required to address the situation. The urgency of attracting and retaining talent became paramount.

Key Challenges: Elevated employee turnover, non-compliance with HR practices, a substantial number of Spanish-speaking employees who lacked adequate company communication, the absence of an employee handbook, and the introduction of new HR practices requiring employee buy-in.

The team furnished a current and compliant Handbook in both English and Spanish to ensure uniform access to company information for all employees. Processes for hiring, onboarding, promotions, performance management, and employee retention were introduced and sustained, resulting in consistency and compliance. The objective of recruiting an HR Manager to further build upon Employers Advantage's foundation was successfully achieved.
